We’ve been hearing from organizations across the South and the U.S. who are excited about the plans to organize actions during the DNC next September. In the past week, several important groups have officially joined the Coalition to Protest at the DNC. Occupy Charlotte has signed on, as have the Baltimore City chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, along with United 4 the Dream, a youth-led immigrants rights group based in Charlotte.
